I trust you are coping okay with the last few days of the lock down. Here at 5G Awareness York we have been busy - holding online meetings and continuing devising ways to protest or object to 5G, etc etc. Unfortunately, there is some bad news: The second planning app (for the aerial on top of the Cedar Court Grand Hotel in the centre of York was approved using delegated (Del) authority ie by the case officer on her own (presumably from her home in Wakefield).
The other piece of bad news is that telecom masts seem to be popping up all over the place, done under cover of the lock down. We have a mapping project to take pictures of masts and record them on a map. If you would like to take part, please let us know.
The good news is that more and more people are becoming aware of dangers of 5G – due to the efforts of many “truthers”. We are also growing as an organisation – Geoff has joined and has come up with a lots of great ideas, incl. how to object to applications using legal type arguments. Of course, we would like to object on health grounds, but central government has specifically stipulated that local councils must not take health issues into account in deciding cases!
Of course, the big talking point in the (alt) news is the connection between 5G and Covid19. I was interested to see that the David Icke video on London Real achieved 5+ million views before being taken down. From the BBC website:
The CCDH said videos of Mr Icke making "untrue and conspiracist claims about Covid-19" had been watched more than 30 million times online.
When I read this kind of article on MSM (Main Stream Media), I am kind of surprised that there is no effort by MSM to provide any facts supporting the claims that there is no link between 5G and Covid-19. They simply say it is false and a conspiracy theory as if that is enough to prove their case. On the other side of the debate, people like David Icke, provide numerous cross checked reports from doctors and scientists explaining the specific medical/biological reasons why the two are connected.
Our website is at www.5gawarenessyork.co.uk and is regularly updated with new reports. However, there are so many videos about the health risks and other dangers of 5G, that we can only include a selection. If any readers have videos that they would like to see included on our website, please let us know – at 5GAwarenessYork@gmail.com.
